Kids Ocean Day

Kids Ocean Day is an annual event designed to engage students from communities facing barriers to coastal access and disproportionate environmental pollution. This program empowers the next generation to value and protect our environment through conservation and advocacy. In 2024, 1,000 elementary students from inland Orange County joined us in Huntington Beach, collectively removing over 300 pounds of trash from the coast. This one-day event happens every May and requires dozens of volunteers to pull off successfully! Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to participate in this event.
